"It's about the journey--mine and yours--and the lives we can touch, the legacy we can leave, and the world we can change for the better."
-Tony Dungy

I am a responsible person with ambitions to drive myself to finish graduate school in pursuit of a Doctor in Physical Therapy degree. As an undergraduate student I double majored and have other experience in many different areas. My two degrees were a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science and Psychology. Exercise Science provides me with a background on topics such as kinesiology, anatomy, and physiology, while my degree in Psychology was centered on a person’s personality and how they interacted with other people. Both of these academic interests will be beneficial in my future career of becoming a Physical Therapist, in a multitude of different ways. The field of Physical Therapy utilizes communication between therapists and clients, a knowledge of injuries and their treatments, and also a general love of helping people; all three of which I have.

Upon graduation I continued my journey to become a Physical Therapist through my role as a Physical Therapy Technician with ProActive Physical Therapy. I did this in order to acquire a better knowledge of the procedures taken in order to help improve a client’s health and to continue to be more involved in my passion to help others. I continued this, until August when I began my doctorate level coursework began in Physical Therapy at Northern Arizona University.
The goal of education is the advancement of knowledge and the dissemination of truth.
